The
application deadline for the Arkansas Arts Council’s Arts in Education Roster has been extended through July 24. This Roster is an opportunity for
arts educators of all genres to increase their outreach.
An independent panel will review applications and choose artists to join the Roster this fall. Joining the Roster has multiple benefits, including free public exposure.
Schools and organizations that use Arts in Education Roster artists are eligible for Arts Council mini-grants, which cover at least part of the costs of
hiring Roster artists. For example, schools and organizations can apply for a Lifelong Learning mini-grant that may cover up to $1,000 in artist-related
expenses, such as artist fees, travel, lodging and supplies. More
information about the Arkansas Arts Council’s mini-grants is available at www.ArkansasArts.org.
The Arts in Education program helps bring quality arts educators to various locations across Arkansas. Applications for artists who want to join our Roster in 2021 are available at arkansasarts.org.
